Welcome to the fourth installment of our special blog exhibit! We are getting very excited as we edge closer to the publication of our new book: Empowering Women. This book is a celebration of Dayton and Miami Valley women and their contributions to making our community great. Over the next two years, we will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of suffrage in this nation, and the women featured in our book played a huge role in the battle for the right to vote in Ohio. We want to share this history with the next generation, to ensure they realize they too have the power to achieve great things, even in the face of adversity.
